Serving size: ~40ml/1.4fl oz

Add/Sift 4 Bamboo spoons of matcha into a bowl

Approximately 1 bsp (~1g)

Add ~1 Tbsp/0.5fl oz of water

Use ~70°C/160°F (not boiling) soft, filtered water

Massage into a smooth paste

Apply gentle pressure to break up clumps

Add another ~1 Tbsp/0.5fl oz of water

Then massage again until consistent

Koicha should be thick and viscous

with the consistency of melted chocolate
